Position Summary
The Account Executive is responsible for developing referral relationships and driving admissions throughout an assigned territory in the Columbus, Georgia market.
This is a field-based sales position focused on building relationships with physicians, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers, assisted living communities, and other healthcare referral sources. The ideal candidate is a motivated self-starter with strong communication skills, a consultative sales approach, and a passion for helping patients receive high-quality home health services.
The Account Executive will manage a defined territory and be responsible for developing new referral sources while maintaining existing partnerships to achieve admission and census growth goals.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain referral relationships throughout an assigned territory.
Conduct regular in-person sales calls with hospitals, physician offices, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare providers.
Generate new patient referrals and consistently grow admissions.
Identify new business opportunities while strengthening existing referral partnerships.
Represent the organization within the local healthcare community through networking events and professional meetings.
Collaborate closely with branch leadership, clinical teams, and operations to ensure exceptional patient care and referral satisfaction.
Maintain accurate activity records and consistently achieve sales goals and performance expectations.
Qualifications
Healthcare sales or business development experience preferred.
Experience in referral-based healthcare environments strongly preferred.
Existing relationships with referral sources within the Columbus market are highly desirable.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop new business and build long-term professional relationships.
Self-motivated with excellent organizational and territory management skills.
LPNs with Home Health experience who are interested in transitioning into sales are encouraged to apply.
Candidates from senior living sales, physician practice management, or other healthcare relationship-based roles are also encouraged to apply.
