Key Responsibilities:
- Provide protection for client facilities and personnel to prevent theft, fire, or unwanted unauthorized acts, through the creation and maintenance of a highly visible deterrent.
- Ability to observe and report "out of the ordinary" individuals, situations, hazards or safety concerns.
- Maintain a working knowledge of post orders and operation procedures, both written and verbal.
- Coordinate with local law enforcement in a professional manner.
Reporting:
- Prepare detailed reports on security observations, incidents, breaches, or civilian incidents occurring on the job site.
- Provide accurate and timely information to management regarding security concerns or incidents.
Administrative Tasks:
- Maintain and update security logs and records.
- Conduct routine inspections of security equipment and ensure it is in working order.
Qualifications:
- Current California Guard Card license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Capable of following post orders and instructions
- Must have reliable transportation and access to email
Working Conditions:
- May be required to work day and/or swing shifts
- The role involves exposure to various weather conditions and may require working in potentially unpleasant situations.
Compensation:
- Hourly rate range is as posted.
