LOCATION: SW PORTLAND, OREGON

Full Potential HRT Clinic provides Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington with unrivaled state-of-the-art, comprehensive hormone replacement therapy (HRT), as well as revolutionary treatments for regenerative health, weight loss, aesthetics, and sexual dysfunction for men and women. We are seeking a like-minded individual who embraces integrative health care and the merging of conventional and complementary medical philosophies to provide the best care possible to all patients regardless of cultural, racial, ethnic, sexual, and spiritual background.

Prerequisites

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • AHA-accredited Current Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Valid phlebotomy certification

About the Position

The phlebotomist is responsible for performing all clinical tasks and coordination of patient care and clinic activities within facility and license scope, as directed by the clinic provider. This includes but is not limited to:Medical Assisting -Under the delegation of a licensed practitioner, you may:

  • Performs venous and capillary invasive procedures for blood withdrawal
  • Performs intradermal, subcutaneous and intramuscular injections
  • Applies, or assists with application of, durable medical equipment
  • Administers medications as ordered by the provider and per scope of practice
  • Gives approved instructions and patient education to patients

  • Employ professional telephone and interpersonal techniques
  • Recognize and respond effectively to verbal, nonverbal and written communications

  • Possess excellent customer service and patient care skills
  • Interacts in a friendly, professional manner with a wide range of Male patients, physician, and other colleagues within other Full Potential HRT Clinics
  • Ability to perform delegated work with minimal oversight
  • Ability to analyze, problem solve, and prioritize multiple tasks under pressure
  • High degree of accountability with increasing responsibilities

Patient Care

  • Anticipate and facilitate provider workflow
  • Perform initial intake screening by "verifying” patient visit
  • Obtain and record patient information
  • Obtain vital signs per clinic policy for each patient visit
  • Prepare and maintain examination and treatment areas
  • Prepare patient for examinations procedure and treatments
  • Assist with examination, procedures and treatments
  • Maintain and update all medication and lab records
  • Maintain, reviews and updates health maintenance records

Operational Functions

  • Apply principles of aseptic techniques and infection control
  • Practice standard precautions, including hand washing and disposal of biohazards
  • Comply with quality assurance practices
  • Perform inventory of supplies and equipment
  • Perform routine maintenance of administrative and clinical equipment
  • Perform methods of quality control

Schedule:

  • 10 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Holidays
  • No weekends
  • Overtime
  • M-TH 7am-6pm
  • T-F 7am-6pm
  • Above hours are based on clinic needs but is non-rotating

Experience:

  • Venipuncture: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
