Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist with seating arrangements to ensure a welcoming atmosphere
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications, including table settings and buffet arrangements
- Clear tables promptly and assist with bussing to maintain cleanliness throughout the event
- Monitor guest needs during events, providing attentive service and responding promptly to requests
- Handle food safety and food handling procedures diligently, adhering to health regulations
- Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems for order processing and billing, including wine and beverage service
- Assist with food preparation and replenishment during events as needed, supporting culinary staff when appropriate
- Maintain excellent guest relations by engaging courteously and ensuring a positive experience from start to finish
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the food industry or catering is highly preferred, especially in banquet or fine dining settings
- Strong guest services skills with a friendly, energetic attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Familiarity with food safety standards, food handling, and proper serving techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A background in hospitality or culinary experience enhances your ability to excel in this role
