Job Summary:
We are looking for a residential/commercial Painter to join our team! You will be preparing and performing professional exterior and interior painting jobs in a residential and commercial setting.
You are an experienced residential and commercial painter who’s looking to be part of an energetic and effective team. You believe in a job done right and take pride in delivering a quality service to customers. A positive attitude is a must!
Responsibilities:
- Paint using a proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) while utilizing proper painting techniques. Knowledge of operating spray machines a plus.
- Interact professionally with clients on residential projects and with other trades on commercial projects.
- Identify proper materials for new and existing projects
- Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or by other means necessary
- Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks
- Inspect paint jobs for quality
- Perform daily maintenance routines on painting equipment
- Have own basic painting tools
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in residential and commercial painting
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment
- Possess OSHA certification or willing to obtain
