Job Summary:
Full Distance Brewing is searching for experienced, knowledgeable and enthusiastic Beertenders to join our team at our brewery and tap room in Stafford! Part-time and flexible shifts are available and needed for weekdays and weekends.
Job Description:
Beertenders are responsible for delivering the Full Distance brand and experience for guests in our tap room. Must be self-motivated, consistently provide exceptional service and work well as part of a team.
Qualifications:
o Must be 21.
o Passionate and knowledgeable of craft beer (Cicerone certification preferred).
o Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task in a busy atmosphere.
o Positive attitude and excellent customer service skills.
o Service industry experience required (1 yr min).
o Brewery experience preferred.
o Ability up to lift 50 lbs. Team lift above 50 pounds.
o Knowledge of tap systems preferred
o Experience using Square POS Systems a plus.
Job responsibilities:
o Promote sales of beer and merchandise.
o Ensures orders are accurate, timely and presented by Full Distance standards.
o Interacts with and guides guests through ordering process.
o Process payments through Square POS System.
o Build strong relationships with guests.
o Anticipate needs of guests and make recommendations.
o Maintain bar, merchandise and restroom inventory and supplies.
o Properly ID guests by Virginia ABC standards.
o Change kegs.
o Responsible for maintaining cleanliness and appropriate environment in the tap room (e.g., music, lighting, temp. etc.).
o Monitor inventory levels, update inventory in Square and restock merchandise
o Clean bar, taproom, and restrooms.
Job Type: Part-time
