Job description:
Job Title: Buyer
Duties:
- Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing clients and suppliers
-Develop new suppliers and clients
-Maintain good business contracts and favorable relations with current customers (scrap dealers, peddlers, and other suppliers) by regularly keeping in contact.
-Assist in developing strategic plans for new businesses
-Protect and expand profit margins
-The employee may be assigned to special projects or required to preform other duties not listed above, which may vary from time to time as determined by management, to meet company needs
Core Competencies:
-Self- starter with a passion for a new business development and growing client relationships
-Working knowledge of basic computer programs including Microsoft Office Suite.
-Positive attitude, goal-oriented, and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Requirements:
-Strong ability to price & grade NF Scrap Materials -Excellent communication, negotiation & organization skills -Account management & New acquisition experience
-Must be able to identify ferrous and non ferrous materials for purchasing and sales purposes
