Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled SUD Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team. The successful candidate will be responsible for a client caseload and will collaborate with the treatment team to formulate the master treatment plan and assist with coordinating discharge plans if applicable.
Job Duties
- Complete documentation for continuity of care including but not limited to treatment plan, ASAM, discharge documentation, transfer documentation, and documentation necessary to communicate with outside agencies
- Individual Counseling upon request
- Facilitate SOP or Residential groups
- Complete all documentation in a timely manner and in accordance with the agency’s policies and procedures
- Eliminate barriers for clients including but not limited to transportation, vital documentation, insurance, housing, etc.
- Ensure that all materials used for presentations in individual sessions and group sessions are appropriate and effective
- Address problem behaviors with clients and set treatment goals for clients.
- Perform direct observation of urine specimen collection for substance use screening and monitoring
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must possess one of the following licensures: LCDCII, LCDCIII, LICDC, LSW, or LPC
- Must have at minimum an associates degree
- Experience working with substance abuse population and previous clinical experience preferred
- Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructions, along with the ability to understand human behavior
- Must maintain a professional demeanor while dealing with emotionally charged issues and individuals
- Must be able to make decisions at times with imperfect information
- Effectively present information and respond to questions from a diverse demographic group
- Must be able to lift, push, pull or move up to 50lbs
- This position may require the use of a Company or personal vehicle. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and possess the ability to comply with company auto insurance policy.
