Position Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dependable Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in their homes and communities. DSPs play a critical role in promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
As a DSP, you will:
- Provide one-to-one support based on individualized service plans
- Assist with daily living skills (hygiene, meals, routines, community activities)
- Support community integration and meaningful day activities
- Encourage independence, choice, and self-advocacy
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and structured environment
- Document services accurately and timely
- Follow DDA, COMAR, and agency policies
- Communicate professionally with supervisors and care teams
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license & reliable transportation
- Ability to pass background checks and screenings
- Reliable, punctual, and professional
- Compassionate with strong communication skills
- DSP, caregiving, or healthcare experience
- Experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
- CPR/First Aid (or willingness to obtain)

Pay: $18.00 - $21.81 per hour
Expected hours: 20.0 – 40.0 per week
