What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Assistant - Wellness Center position at Full Circle Health and Careers?
We are looking for a Medical Assistant to support our Wellness Center! 3 day a week schedule!
Purpose
The Medical Assistant (MA) shall be accountable for 1) providing excellent direct patient care alongside our providers, 2) supporting the Patient Centered Medical Home model of care 3) maintaining accurate and complete documentation within the patient’s medical record and 4) Maintaining current knowledge of HIV, including progression, transmission, medications, monitoring and the Ryan White Grant.
Schedule
8am to 5pm Wednesday-Friday daytime shifts with the opportunity for evenings or Saturday morning rotations.

Education
- Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant training program.
Licensure / Certification
- Currently certified by American Medical Technologists, American Association of Medical Assistants, American Registry of Medical Assistants, Licensed Practical Nurse or other accredited certifying organization.
Experience
- Entry level; previous medical assistant experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a primary care clinic / outpatient setting preferred.
