Job Summary
The Charitable Gaming Manager is responsible for the successful day-to-day operation of all charitable gaming activities. This role includes hiring, training, and supervising gaming staff, ensuring compliance with all state gaming laws and internal policies, managing inventory and recordkeeping, overseeing game conduct, and collaborating closely with the Gaming Auditor and Board of Directors. The Gaming Manager plays a key role in maintaining the integrity, profitability, and transparency of the gaming program.
Operations Management
- Oversee all charitable gaming operations, including bingo, raffles, 21, pull-tabs, and electronic gaming
- Hire, train, and supervise gaming staff; ensure appropriate staffing levels and schedule coverage for all events
- Monitor employee adherence to gaming rules, internal procedures, and regulatory compliance
- Assist in the conduct of games and serve as a member of the count team as needed
- Ensure games start on time and are conducted with professionalism and consistency
- Coordinate facility and equipment needs for gaming events
Inventory & Financial Controls
- Maintain inventory control records and issue inventory to authorized personnel
- Track and monitor inventory use, losses, and discrepancies; reconcile inventory regularly
- Make regular bank deposits and submit validated deposit receipts to the Gaming Auditor
- Ensure accuracy of cash handling procedures by staff during and after events
- Maintain oversight of ideal cash banks and change needs for all game types
Compliance & Communication
- Ensure that all gaming operations are in compliance with applicable state laws, licensing regulations, and internal policies
- Collaborate regularly with the Gaming Auditor regarding fund transfers, tax payments, reconciliations, and audits
- Communicate promptly and professionally using the Full Circle Academy email system
- Maintain ongoing documentation of incidents, compliance reports, inventory logs, and personnel actions related to gaming
Leadership & Reporting
- Work closely with the Board of Directors to provide updates, seek guidance, and support strategic goals
- Develop and implement new procedures to improve efficiency and compliance
- Participate in quarterly inventory counts and support reconciliations with the Gaming Auditor
- Serve as a representative of the gaming program to stakeholders, vendors, and patrons
Other Responsibilities
- Has signatory authority on the gaming bank account
- Supports fundraising initiatives tied to gaming activities
- Ensures a safe, welcoming, and responsible gaming environment for players and staff
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $23.72 - $30.00 per hour
