Duties
- Operate power tools such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and hedge cutters to maintain lawns and landscaped areas efficiently.
- Perform landscape maintenance activities such as planting flowers, shrubs, and trees; mulching; and installing garden features.
- Use hand tools like shovels, rakes, pruners, and hoes for planting, trimming, and soil preparation.
- Support hardscape projects by helping with the installation of patios, walkways, retaining walls, and other outdoor structures.
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and perform basic maintenance to ensure all tools and machinery operate safely and effectively.
- Assist with tree care activities including trimming, pruning, and removal using appropriate techniques and equipment.
Experience
- Prior experience with lawn care or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Mechanical knowledge or familiarity with power tools and landscaping equipment is highly advantageous.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards is essential.
