We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our Weekend Shift team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake equipment to bend and form sheet metal components according to engineering drawings and production requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a commitment to producing quality work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You'll Do
Press Brake Operations
- Set up and operate CNC and manual press brake equipment according to work instructions and production schedules.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and work orders.
- Select proper tooling and make machine adjustments to achieve required tolerances.
- Perform bends and forming operations while maintaining dimensional accuracy.
- Verify first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain production efficiency while meeting quality standards.
- Inspect finished parts using measuring tools and inspection equipment.
- Verify dimensions, bend angles, and overall conformance to specifications.
- Identify and report quality concerns or machine issues.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records as required.
- Load, unload, and move materials safely throughout the production process.
- Organize completed parts and prepare materials for downstream operations.
- Assist other production departments as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in safety meetings and training activities.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Contribute ideas that improve safety, quality, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Experience operating press brake equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and work instructions.
- Ability to accurately use measuring instruments, including tape measures, calipers, and angle gauges.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Knowledge of both metric and imperial measurement systems.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.
- Ability to routinely lift and maneuver materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Experience with CNC press brake programming and setup.
- Experience using precision inspection equipment.
- Forklift experience.
- Experience in a fabrication or sheet metal manufacturing environment.
- Indoor manufacturing environment.
- Fast-paced production setting with established production goals.
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and material handling.
- Exposure to machinery, metal fabrication processes, and production equipment.
- Required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) must be worn on the production floor.
