Job Overview

We are seeking a Woodshop Associate - Manufacturing to join our dynamic team. This position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on precision craftsmanship and manufacturing excellence. The successful candidate will support the production of high-quality audio products by utilizing woodworking skills, operating machinery, and adhering to safety standards. This role is essential in maintaining our commitment to quality and timely delivery.

POSITION DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Operate table saws, compound miter saw, wide belt sander and blade/belt recognition with various materials.
• Operate loading and unloading equipment (pallet jack, hand, etc.) in a safe and responsible manner.
• Verifies material against job traveler by sight and/or measurement.
• Remove chip materials (waste) from shop area to scrap bins as needed.
• Provide courteous and professional service during customer or vendor interactions.
• Keep the general work area clean, organized and free of trash and clutter.
• Detail oriented.
• Follow written and oral instructions as given.
• Other duties as assigned by the area supervisor.
• Track jobs completed through work area and staging of material for corresponding jobs.
• Prepares work by studying work instructions, drawings, and parts lists; gathers parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.
• Verifies specifications by measuring completed assembly.
• Resolves assembly problems by notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources to obtain a suitable outcome.
• Keeps equipment operational by completing preventive maintenance requirements following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshoots equipment malfunctions; asks for repairs.
• Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
• Checks stock to determine inventory level and anticipating needed supplies.
• Conserves resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results.
• Contributes to team effort by working cooperatively with others.

• The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
• Constantly - required to stand for long periods of time, walk, and reach with hands and arms.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Experienced with hand tools, electric tools and pneumatic tools.
• Able to follow instructions and learn on the job.
• Good communication skills. Asks for help/supervision when instructions are not clear or when attempting a new task.

Job Type: Full-time

Schedule:

• Day Shift
• Monday - Friday 7am-3:30pm

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
