Position Summary

The Pelvic Physical Therapist II reports to the Kailua Clinic Advisor and serves as an experienced orthopedic clinician who is expanding advanced expertise in pelvic health rehabilitation. This role provides exceptional patient care while progressing toward Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC), mentoring developing clinicians, and supporting the continued growth of our pelvic health program. Clinicians also participate in our Prompt Compensation model, providing a clear pathway for career advancement and increased earning potential through professional development, clinical excellence, and meaningful contributions to the practice.


What You'll Do:

Deliver Exceptional Patient Care

  • Evaluate and treat patients with orthopedic and pelvic health conditions
  • Develop individualized plans of care based on current evidence
  • Create and progress home exercise programs beginning on the initial evaluation
  • Educate patients and caregivers to promote long-term success
  • Assess patients for Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) eligibility
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes


Grow Your Pelvic Health Expertise

You'll continue building advanced clinical skills while working toward specialty certification.

Preferred areas of experience include treatment of:

  • Pelvic pain
  • Interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome
  • Urinary and fecal incontinence
  • Constipation and bowel dysfunction
  • Dyspareunia
  • Pudendal neuralgia
  • Coccygodynia
  • Male pelvic health conditions


Documentation & Clinical Excellence

  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation
  • Complete evaluations, progress notes, and discharge documentation within company standards
  • Submit insurance authorizations as needed
  • Maintain patient case information within clinic procedures
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives


Professional Growth

As a experienced clinician, you'll help strengthen our clinical team by:

  • Mentoring developing pelvic health clinicians
  • Serving as a Clinical Instructor for student internships
  • Collaborating in case discussions and treatment planning
  • Supporting our Professional Practice Model


Qualifications

Required

  • Current Hawaiʻi Physical Therapist License (or license eligible)
  • Strong orthopedic examination and treatment skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for providing exceptional patient-centered care

Preferred

  • Working toward Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC)
  • Herman & Wallace PF2 Certification
  • Minimum four years of outpatient orthopedic physical therapy experience
  • Experience treating pelvic health diagnoses in women and men
  • Experience mentoring clinicians or students

Schedule

  • Full-Time
  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday–Friday
  • Clinic hours: 7:15 AM – 6:30 PM
  • Occasional weekend community events or coverage as needed
