What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager, Operations Training position at Fuku?
About Fuku
First crafted as an off-menu item by chefs at David Chang’s NYC Momofuku Noodle Bar, our original sando was too good to be kept behind the counter. And then it was too big for the restaurant. So it got its own East Village joint in 2015. And it’s been Fukusanity ever since
About The Role
The Senior Manager of Operations Training will own the design, implementation, and facilitation of training programs for both traditional and non-traditional venues, ensuring alignment with Fuku’s culture, values, and operational standards. This role will develop learning systems, lead hands-on training for new and existing restaurants, and oversee all training aspects of new restaurant openings nationwide.
Reporting to the VP of Operations, this leader will work cross-functionally with Operations leadership and People & Culture to create consistent, engaging, and scalable training experiences. They will play a key role in developing the systems and tools that enable operational excellence, talent growth, and cultural alignment across all levels of the business.
Work Location:
We are prioritizing candidates based in South Florida or the surrounding areas. This is a remote role that requires extensive travel (60–70%) to Fuku locations across South Florida and other markets as needed for training, new restaurant openings, and on-site support.
Salary: $115,000/year Bonus potential
Fuku uses a level-based compensation structure to ensure pay equity and consistency across roles. We do not negotiate salaries so that every team member joins on equal footing.
