We are currently recruiting for a Technician I. This position tends machine(s) such as, injection molding, assembly, packing, labeling, banding, wrapping, etc. Starts machine and observes operation to detect malfunctions of machine. Stops machine and reports malfunction to Supervisor or Team Leader. Makes routine machine adjustments or repairs, such as, clearing jams, setting guides, etc. Performs manual packing operations, such as, wrapping, boxing, labeling, etc. Handles raw materials, finished product and associated documentation using production and warehouse management systems, such as SAP. Transports product and supplies between departments and/or locations, may load trailers or shipping containers. May operate different types of powered fork lift trucks. Maintains packaging supplies, such as, wrapping paper, boxes, cartons, glue, ink, labels, etc. Feeds product to conveyors, hoppers or other feeding devices and unload packaged product. Performs quality inspection to ensure that products meet quality specifications. Maintains records, such as, production volume, product type, quality check sheets, machine check sheets, etc. Effectively works with others within the team to achieve team goals. Effectively communicates with co-workers and supervisor. Performs all additional duties as assigned by supervisor. Follows Fujifilm’s Employee Code of Conduct Policy and adheres to Fujifilm Safety Policies and Procedures. Generates hazardous waste, labels containers and meets other container storage requirements. Transports them to less than 90 day storage. Prepares hazardous waste for disposal, such as, filling waste tankers and coordinating these pickups.
