Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and warmly upon arrival, ensuring they feel valued and comfortable.
• Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using advanced table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS.
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table utilization while maintaining a smooth flow of service.
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the menu, reservations, and wait times while practicing excellent phone etiquette.
• Maintain organized waiting lists and communicate wait times clearly to guests.
• Assist with guest inquiries related to food safety standards, restaurant policies, and special accommodations.
• Support the front-of-house team by handling guest relations with positive communication skills and ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.

Experience

• Previous experience as a host or hostess in a fast-paced restaurant environment is highly preferred.
• Strong background in food service or hospitality roles that involve guest interaction and customer service excellence.
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management software such as Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail and organization skills.
• Basic math skills for managing seating charts, wait times, and billing procedures.
• Experience with POS systems and familiarity with food safety protocols is advantageous.
• Hotel or guest services experience can be a plus, reflecting strong guest relations capabilities.
