Duties
- Assist in food preparation by chopping, slicing, and assembling ingredients according to recipes and standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen stations, including washing dishes, utensils, and cookware
- Support the culinary team during busy periods by bussing tables and clearing plates to ensure smooth service flow
- Follow food safety protocols and handle ingredients properly to uphold hygiene standards
- Help with food plating and presentation to ensure dishes meet quality expectations
- Support banquet and event setups by preparing ingredients and assisting with large-scale food service needs
- Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely delivery of orders
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Basic knowledge of kitchen operations, food handling, and safety procedures
- Strong communication skills to work effectively within a team and assist customers when needed
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform physically demanding tasks
