The Personal Care Service Provider will be responsible for providing personal care services such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance, as well as other support services that help individuals maintain their independence in their homes or in a care facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care services to clients, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance.
- Assist with ambulation and mobility, including transferring and positioning clients.
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, cleaning, and tidying up.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- At least one year of experience in a similar role prefer.
- Knowledge of personal care techniques and principles of hygiene.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and reaching.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
