What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Control Technician position at Fuel Total Systems Kentucky Corporation?
JOB DUTIES:
· Lead internal defect investigations and make reports to present activity
· Responsible for suppler quality control
· Complete warranty investigations, track and dispute claims
· Data collection, graphing (SPC), and data management
· Drawing interpretation and GDT understanding
· Drawing and process change support; main contact for internal changes
· Troubleshooting all testing equipment
· Calibration and quality tool management
· Track, monitor, and lead activity to reduce and
· Create and modify procedures and work instructions
· Complete routine audits
· IMDS management
· Direct contact for vendor and outside services
· Support customer investigations
· Support internal and external part approval processes
· Support submission of product samples and manufacturing data
· Support QC specialist and the quality team as needed
· Support ISO 14001 activities as required
· Ability to work alternative shifts, over time, or weekends as needed
· Available outside of normal hours as needed
· Ability to lift, push, and pull 40 pounds
· Some travel to suppliers, customers, etc.
· Additional tasks as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least 3-5 of automotive quality experience (Toyota desired)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have a positive attitude and strong team mentality
- ISO 9001 knowledge preferred
