Duties

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus.
• Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
• Assist with catering events, preparing dishes that meet specific client requests.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper storage of food items.
• Utilize kitchen equipment safely and effectively, including knives and other cooking tools.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation during meal service.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist in ordering as needed.
• Help train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques and safety protocols.

Requirements

• Proven experience in food preparation or culinary roles within the food industry.
• Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, meal preparation, and catering services.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Excellent knife skills and familiarity with various cooking equipment.
• Strong attention to detail with an emphasis on quality control.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
