Position Summary

The Car Wash Attendant is responsible for supporting daily car wash operations while providing excellent customer service and maintaining a clean, safe, and organized facility. This role assists customers throughout the wash process, helps maintain equipment functionality, and ensures vehicles receive quality service in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and able to work efficiently outdoors while maintaining safety, cleanliness, and service standards.

Key Responsibilities

Car Wash Operations

• Ensure a safe environment for customers, employees, and vehicles throughout all car wash operations.
• Guide and process vehicles safely through the wash tunnel according to company procedures.
• Dry vehicles and apply tire shine services as required.
• Monitor vehicle flow and assist in maintaining efficient wash operations during peak business periods.
• Check functionality of vacuums and report operational or maintenance concerns to management.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines related to car wash equipment and vehicle movement.

Customer Service

• Deliver Tier 1 (T1) customer experience standards through friendly, professional, and efficient service.
• Greet and acknowledge customers with professionalism and courtesy.
• Maintain positive customer engagement throughout the service experience.
• Assist customers with questions or service needs and escalate concerns when appropriate.
• Provide friendly farewells and ensure customers leave with a positive experience.

Facility Equipment Management

• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe car wash facility and work environment.
• Ensure tunnel, vacuum, and site appearance standards are consistently maintained.
• Perform routine cleaning and organization of wash areas, vacuum stations, and customer spaces.
• Monitor site conditions and report maintenance or safety concerns to management.
• Assist with maintaining operational readiness of equipment and supplies throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Previous car wash, automotive service, retail, or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to follow operational and safety procedures consistently.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining safety and service quality.
• Flexible schedule availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and remain physically active throughout scheduled shifts.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and carry operational supplies and equipment as needed.

Pay Range: $11.00-16.00/hour depending on shift and experience
