Operations Manager

What we’re looking for!

Pro-Active and dynamic leader that is willing to change the paradigm. Experienced in managing drivers, leading the planning and analysis of operations to drive excellence.

What you will be doing!

· Maintain driver and fleet safety.

· Ensure a clean and safe work environment.

· Ensure clear communications and expectations.

· Ensure fleet availability for operations by scheduling preventative maintenance.

· Coordinate with the purchasing department to ensure PO’s are issued for any materials or emergent maintenance.

· Maintain files for all drivers and trucks in a DOT / Fuel regulated environment.

· Recruit, retain and train all drivers on processes and specific requirements.

· Maintain adequate staffing levels of all drivers.

· Prepare and review all fuel delivery schedules.

· Conduct daily pre-shift meetings, performance reviews, check rides, one on one development.

· Maintain files inside trucks that contain all information necessary to be considered “Rack Ready”.

· Enforce and record any violations of company policy.

· Ensure adherence to SWPP and DEF bulk handling.

· Attend and report KPI’s at staff meetings as required.

· Publish all required reports daily.

· Audits of driver paperwork for accuracy and compliance.

· Control expenses (overtime, fuel usage, truck maintenance, etc.)

· Be available for any off-duty issues that may arise.

· All other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

Three years direct DOT driver supervisory experience.

High School Diploma or GED

Have a Class ‘A’ CDL is a Plus

Both written and oral communication skills should be easy to read and/or understand.

Move to the head of the list if you possess:

College degree

Fleet fuel experience a plus.

Forklift trainer certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
