Duties

• Greet guests with a friendly, energetic demeanor and assist with seating arrangements to optimize flow and comfort
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure smooth table assignments
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing information and taking reservations or inquiries
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to communicate guest needs and special requests promptly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area to uphold high standards of hospitality
• Handle guest concerns or questions courteously, demonstrating excellent guest relations and communication skills
• Support team members during busy periods to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Prior experience as a Host or in a customer service role within food service or restaurant environments preferred
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, guest services, and hospitality standards is a plus
• Excellent phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Previous hotel or guest relations experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain energetic throughout shifts while maintaining a positive attitude
