Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit
- Take accurate orders ensuring quick and efficient service
- Prepare food items according to established recipes and safety standards, maintaining high quality and presentation
- Operate cash registers, handle cash transactions accurately, and perform cashiering duties with integrity
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Assist in food handling, stocking supplies, and supporting kitchen operations during busy periods
- Manage time effectively to ensure prompt service during peak hours while upholding quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation and food service within quick service or fast food restaurants
- Familiarity with POS systems for efficient transaction processing
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Ability to handle cash accurately and perform basic math calculations for transactions and retail math tasks
- Knowledge of food safety practices, sanitation procedures, and proper food handling techniques
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in cashiering, upselling, serving, bussing tables, and supporting kitchen operations is preferred
- Background in culinary arts or restaurant experience is a plus but not required; willingness to learn is essential
