Position Title: Grill Cook
Location: Fuddruckers Restaurant
Reports To: Kitchen Manager / General Manager
Position Summary
Fuddruckers is seeking an energetic and dependable Grill Cook to prepare high-quality burgers and menu items in a fast-paced kitchen environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about food preparation, maintains high cleanliness standards, and works well as part of a team to deliver excellent guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook burgers, chicken, and other grill items according to Fuddruckers recipes and food safety standards
- Operate grills, fryers, and kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure food quality, portion control, and presentation meet company expectations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout shifts
- Monitor food temperatures and follow all health and safety guidelines
- Stock and rotate food supplies using FIFO (First In, First Out) methods
- Assist with kitchen prep work and closing duties as assigned
- Communicate effectively with team members and management during busy service periods
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- Previous grill cook or restaurant kitchen experience preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and food quality
- Basic understanding of food safety and sanitation procedures
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
