Japanese ramen restaurant in Beaverton (SW Schools Ferry / SW Hall) serving ramen and teriyaki is hiring for the following position:
Busser / Food Runner
We are looking for a hardworking, reliable, and team-oriented Busser / Food Runner to support our team in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Job Duties:
- Run food from the kitchen to the correct tables quickly and accurately.
- Learn the menu and be able to recognize and identify all menu items, including different ramen, teriyaki, appetizers, and other dishes.
- Confirm food items and table numbers before delivering orders.
- Bus and clean tables promptly to keep the dining area clean and ready for guests.
- Assist servers with resetting and preparing tables.
- Pack to-go and takeout orders accurately, ensuring all food, sauces, utensils, and other necessary items are included.
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the restaurant.
- Assist the front-of-house team as needed.
- Provide friendly and helpful service to guests when necessary.
- Work efficiently and communicate well with the team during busy periods.
Requirements:
- Restaurant experience preferred, but willing to train the right person.
- Ability to learn the menu and quickly recognize food items.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
- Able to work as part of a team.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods and carry food trays.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Schedule Requirements:
- We are looking for someone with a flexible schedule who can work a variety of shifts as needed.
- Must be reliable and able to consistently work scheduled shifts.
