Job Posting for Forklift Driver (1st Shift)
Department: Materials Management
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate a Forklift to assist Fuchs Material Management Department
- Proper use of scanner gun for each material transaction to ensure accurate inventory
- Transfer product to necessary area within the facility
- Properly store WIP in the warehouse and keep it organized
- Empty trash dumpster when necessary.
- Have knowledge as to the location of raw seasoning as to facilitate easy procurement.
- Check battery level/water levels and overall condition of forklift daily via forklift checklist.
- Fill out move sheet for product moves
- Must know how to drive various forklift types (sit-down, stand-up, reach truck)
- Adhere to all Workplace Safety and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) expectations.
- All other duties as assigned
SKILLS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: A High School diploma or GED. Forklift experience is required. In-house forklift certification will be completed prior to using a forklift at Fuchs.
THIS DESCRIPTION IS A GENERAL STATEMENT OF REQUIRED MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES PERFORMED ON A REQUIRED AND CONTINUOUS BASIS. IT DOES NOT EXCLUDE OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED.
Pay Range - $19.00 - $26.70 (Mid $22.85)
