Salary:FUCHS offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience in a similar position. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 per year, but actual salary will vary depending upon a new hire’s experience and qualifications as well as internal equity. Your Responsibilities:The Mechanical Test Design Engineer will be responsible for the design, development and deployment of various application and simulation test rigs.This role will also support customers directly and indirectly via the Sales Team with technical recommendations and component inspection testing. . Other essential duties include:Assist Test Field and Test Design Engineers with Mechanical Design of Test RigsDevelop LabVIEW coding and deployment softwareDevelop and initiate test protocolsData analysis and organizationTelephone support for incoming technical calls and field salesTest Actual Components sent in from customersPrepare written reports for customersResponsible for responding to assigned corrective actions per the CAR system Qualifications we are looking for:B.S. in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or other relevant discipline)SolidWorks proficiency requiredCAD software experience preferredCoding and/or LabVIEW experience preferredElectro-Mechanical Design Preferred These are your benefits:FUCHS offers a challenging and rewarding working environment where employees are encouraged to develop and grow as professionals.
