Position Summary
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Warehouse Operator to join our team. This position is responsible for operating powered industrial equipment, including forklifts, reach trucks, and clamp trucks, to move, store, load, unload, and stage products throughout the warehouse according to customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience operating material handling equipment in a warehouse or distribution environment, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe, efficient, and productive workplace. Experience with inventory control processes, RF scanning technology, and trailer loading/unloading is preferred.
Schedule Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm
Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous forklift experience preferred.
- Experience using RF scanners and warehouse technology preferred.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math and counting abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds on an occasional basis.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
- Ability to occasionally climb, crouch, kneel, and bend.
- Ability to work safely around moving equipment and warehouse traffic.
Work Environment
- This position operates in a warehouse environment and may include:
- Working in close proximity to coworkers and warehouse equipment.
- Exposure to moderate to high noise levels.
- Working around forklifts, machinery, and heavy products.
- Indoor and outdoor work assignments as business needs require.
- Exposure to varying temperatures, including hot and cold conditions depending on weather.
- Occasional manual labor and physical tasks.
- Ability to work in an environment where various products are stored and handled throughout the facility.
