Position Summary: A Laborer will perform a variety of physical tasks to support our operations. This position involves manual labor, operating equipment, and assisting team members to ensure smooth and efficient processes.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform general labor duties such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials.
- Operate basic hand tools and equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe workplace.
- Assist with loading, unloading, and transporting materials or equipment.
- Support skilled workers by preparing and maintaining worksites.
- Report any equipment or safety issues to the supervisor promptly.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to meet operational needs.
Knowledge and Skill Requirements:
- Must be able to follow written and oral instructions
- Possess above average communication skills
- Basic math and counting skills
- Be a self-starter, ability to work under minimal supervision
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in a similar laborer role is a plus.
- Familiarity with tools, machinery, or equipment used in the industry.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Good physical stamina and ability to stand or move for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
