Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Service Technician role based in Riverside, CA. The Field Service Technician will install, maintain, and repair hardware, software, and electronic security systems used by community financial institutions, including ATMs, branch equipment, and related digital solutions. Daily responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, performing scheduled preventative maintenance, and completing service calls in accordance with established procedures and customer service standards. The role involves coordinating with project managers and support teams, documenting work performed, maintaining accurate service records, and ensuring compliance with safety and security guidelines. The technician will regularly interact with client staff, provide clear communication about service status, and contribute to continuous improvement of field service processes.
Qualifications
- Technical aptitude with experience installing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and software systems, preferably in financial or security environments.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills, with the ability to assess issues quickly and implement effective solutions on-site.
- Solid customer service and communication skills to interact professionally with client personnel and internal teams.
- Ability to work independently in the field, manage time and service schedules effectively, and maintain detailed documentation of work performed.
- Familiarity with electronic security systems, cash handling equipment, or banking technology is highly beneficial.
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and connectivity for digital and branch solutions is a plus.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally to client sites in the Riverside, CA area.
