What are the responsibilities and job description for the Machine Set Tech. position at FTR Staffing LLC?
Seeking mechanically inclined and safety-oriented individuals to operate individual equipment on the rolling mill and assist other production operations as necessary.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist on inspection and preventative maintenance to the rolling mill
- Adjust machine set up as required
- Perform initial parts inspection
- Assist in production tooling - conduct tooling change, place tooling in correct sequence, fine tune each tooling station
- Use of hand tools to install equipment
- Record keeping of materials used daily for an accurate inventory
- Heavy material unloading (20 to 60lbs)
- Responsible for maintaining a clean work environment
- Perform duties in accordance with company safety policies
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum1 year of machine operator experience in manufacturing/ production environment
- Experience with rolling mill is a plus
- Must have good mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to stand for a full shift
- Must be available to work OT and weekends when needed
- Experience in working with metal
**BACKGROUND CHECK & DRUG TEST REQUIRED**
SCHEDULE: Must be flexible
- Monday to Friday
- 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.
- Must be available for overtime and weekends when needed
PAY: $21.00 hour - Friday weekly pay
