Key Responsibilities:
- Candidates must reside in the DFW area.
- Review and analyze project plans and specifications.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for multifamily construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors.
- Identify and quantify cost factors, such as production time, materials, and labor expenses.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ensure all estimates are accurate, competitive, and completed within deadlines.
- Must thrive in a fast-paced environment, able to multitask, meet critical deadlines, and maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in multifamily projects.
- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., ProEst, Procore, Bluebeam).
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
