The Travel Specialist is responsible for assisting team members in booking and coordinating travel arrangements. This role requires a high level of customer service and attention to detail. The Travel Specialist serves as an expert advisor, ensuring team members have seamless travel experiences tailored to their unique needs and preferences.
Ideal candidate will have excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Will have strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum Requirements
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree in hospitality, tourism, or related field preferred.
Experience: 1 years of experience in travel planning, customer service, or hospitality industry is highly desirable. Familiarity with travel booking software, global distribution systems (GDS), and online reservation platforms.
Travel: 0-10%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs. Overtime may be required.

- Consults with team members to determine their travel needs, preferences, and budget.
- Researches, recommends, and books travel packages, flights, accommodations, transportation.
- Prepares and presents customized itineraries to team members, ensuring all aspects of the trip are covered.
- Handles changes, cancellations, and emergencies, providing prompt support and solutions as needed.
- Maintains accurate records of bookings, payments, and communications with clients.
- Reconciles expenses related to travel, credit cards, hotels, and similar categories.
- Stays informed about current travel trends, restrictions, and updates within the industry.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
