The Investment Asset Manager serves as the central owner for each investment, guiding it from post-approval, through acquisition, and into long-term operational excellence. Utilizing their project management skillsets, this individual will coordinate with internal teams (e.g., legal, facilities, accounting) and external partners to ensure a smooth closing and transition process. Post-acquisition, the Asset Manager is responsible for maximizing the asset's financial and operational performance by managing budgets, overseeing service and maintenance, monitoring key performance indicators, and ensuring the investment's strategic goals are met. This role is critical for protecting and enhancing the value of our portfolio assets.
Minimum Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Finance, Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: 3-5 years of experience in asset management, project management, general management, or a similar role involving financial and operational oversight of assets.
Travel: 20%
Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. However, work may be performed at any time on any day of the week to meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Project Management: Leads and manages the end-to-end lifecycle for new investments post-approval, including due diligence and closing, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Acts as the primary point of contact between the investment team and other cross-functional teams to streamline processes and communication.
- Performance Optimization: Develops and implements strategies to maximize asset value and operational efficiency, including proactive maintenance schedules and service contract management.
- Financial Oversight: Creates, manages, and reports on annual operating budgets for each asset. Monitors financial performance against projections, analyzes variances, and approves relevant expenditures.
- Reporting & Analysis: Prepares and presents regular performance reports to the Director of Investments, detailing operational status, financial results, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Vendor & Partner Management: Sources, negotiates with, and manages relationships with third-party service providers, property managers, and other external partners to ensure high-quality service and cost-effectiveness.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
