Role Description The Excellerate Material Handler is a full-time, on-site role based in El Paso, TX, responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials within the facility. Day-to-day tasks include unloading deliveries, staging materials, and transporting products to designated work areas to support manufacturing and construction operations. The role also involves verifying shipments and documentation, assisting with packing and labeling orders, and maintaining accurate inventory records in coordination with warehouse and production teams. The Material Handler is expected to follow safety procedures, operate material handling equipment as authorized, and keep work areas clean and organized. This position works closely with supervisors and coworkers to ensure timely material flow and support project schedules.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability in Shipping & Receiving, including verifying documentation and inspecting incoming and outgoing materials.
- Experience with Unloading and Material Handling, such as moving, staging, and storing materials using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Knowledge of Inventory Control practices, including counting, tracking, and reconciling materials and supplies.
- Skills in Packing and preparing materials or products for shipment in accordance with company and customer requirements.
- Ability to follow safety protocols, lift and move materials as required, and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Basic math and computer skills for inventory systems; familiarity with warehouse or manufacturing environments preferred.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- High school diploma or equivalent; prior material handling, warehouse, or construction-related experience is beneficial.
