Overview
We are a growing Diesel-Powered Generator Manufacturer based in New Castle, DE. Our office is the North American Headquarters.
We are looking to add a qualified individual to our technical warehouse team.
Core Responsibilities
- Installation and Commissioning: Perform initial start-up tests including load bank testing and quality control on new generators. Install on board load banks and GPS kits to new generators.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnosing mechanical and electrical failures in diesel systems using diagnostic software and specialized tools.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensuring all work adheres to industry safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and local electrical codes.
- Documentation: Maintaining pre-delivery inspection reports and service reports.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Knowledge: Expertise in internal combustion engines (diesel), electrical circuits, voltage regulation, and control systems.
- Certifications: Any brand specific certifications or other training is a plus.
- Education: A High School Diploma or GED is required. A technical degree or vocational certificate in Diesel Technology or Electrical Systems is a plus.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50–100 lbs, work in tight spaces, and endure various outdoor weather conditions.
- Driving License: A valid driver’s license is required.
