RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage Applications Engineering team within FTC Solar
- Define continuous improvement roadmap for released tracker products
- Work closely with Field Operations to understand and address field installation issues
- Support and define improvements in testing for tracker components
- Analysis and improvement of field performance
- Work closely with Quality and R&D to resolve field failures and provide technical oversight of proposed remediations
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS, MS or PhD in technical discipline related to trackers (Mech Eng., Structural Eng. or equivalent)
- 8 Years work experience in solar
- Previous supervisory experience or demonstrated experience managing people in teams / projects
- Demonstrated ability in problem solving
- Critical thinking
- Good communication skills both oral and written
- Organizational skills
