Under general supervision of the Slot Supervisor, responsible for all mechanical and electronic repairs of all slot machines, both video and reel. Maintains confidentiality of all privileged information.
• Maintains the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of the slot machines.
• Repairs and modifies components, electric systems and peripherals of the slot machines as specified by the Slot Manager.
• Removes, installs and upgrades slot machines.
• Maintains an inventory of parts for the slot machines.
• Resolves immediate concerns including but not limited to tilts, coin jams, tickets and jackpots.
• Monitors and tracks the slot machine malfunctions, the cause and the parts involved.
• Complies with internal controls, policies and procedures as they pertain to this position.
• Ensure all parts and supplies are available to perform preventive maintenance on all slot and video machines.
• Verify accuracy of Slot Technician inventory system through physical counts.
• Keeps an accurate inventory of machine parts, radios, keys, tools, and usable and unusable replacement parts.
• Ensure on-the-job technical training upgrades are made on a continual basis.
• Ensure all paperwork and documentation is completed accurately. Complete reports accurately and distribute to the appropriate departments in a timely.
• Maintain confidentiality of all privileged information.
• Contributes to a team effort and accomplishes related results as required.
• Performs other duties as required.
High School Diploma or GED; one year experience in troubleshooting electronic devices and one year casino experience. Must be 21 years of age or older. Must be able to successfully pass a pre-employment drug/alcohol screen, random drug and controlled substance abuse tests, background investigation, obtain and maintain gaming license in both California and Arizona. Tribal preference given to qualified tribal members.
Native American preference and/or experience with Native American culture and government preferred.
