This is a full-time, on-site Registered Nurse (RN) role at Ft. Lauderdale Health & Rehabilitation Center, located in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The Registered Nurse will provide high-quality patient care, administer medications, monitor patient progress, and maintain accurate medical records. Responsibilities also include collaborating with healthcare teams, educating patients and their families about health conditions, and adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
- Strong clinical skills, including patient assessment, administering treatments, and managing care plans
- Knowledge of medical terminology, patient care standards, and infection control practices
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Time management and organizational abilities for managing multiple tasks and prioritizing patient care
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- Basic life support (BLS) certification or higher (e.g., ACLS or PALS)
- Previous experience in a healthcare or rehabilitation setting is a plus
- Cultural competence and the ability to provide compassionate care to diverse populations
