FST is seeking an experienced Mechanical Technician in Santa Clara, CA.
Role: Mechanical Technician
Schedule: 12 hours shift, compressed work week schedule
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a wide variety of building and facility equipment, fixtures and systems.
- Conduct daily rounds and readings
- Installs, troubleshoots, repairs and maintains a wide variety of facility plumbing, mechanical, heating and cooling systems
- Conducts preventative maintenance inspections and performs required preventative maintenance duties
- Assignments are semi-routine in nature with work performed within generally defined parameters
- Some degree of judgment required in resolving non-standard problems
- Experience in facility mechanical systems operations and maintenance (boilers, chillers, compressors, HVAC, building exhaust, water movement, etc.).
- Lift 30 lbs 3 times a day on average
- Preferred experience in Semiconductor or Pharmaceutical industries
