Most insurance sales jobs ask you to start from zero. This one doesn’t. You’ll earn a guaranteed base salary starting at $55,000, with two raises built into your first 8 months. You’ll work face-to-face with members at credit unions across the Baltimore area, so you’re not cold-calling strangers. These are people who already trust the institution you’re sitting in.
Your Pay Path
- Day 1: $55,000 base salary
- Month 4: $60,000
- Month 8: $65,000

What Your Day Looks Like
You’ll be based in credit union branches around Baltimore, meeting members, learning what they need, and finding coverage that protects their families. You’ll build real relationships with branch staff and partners, and those relationships will bring you referrals and new opportunities. You’ll have a team behind you, with regular coaching and sales meetings to help you keep growing.
What You’ll Do
Connect with members
- Meet credit union members in person and through other channels to share the insurance benefits that come with their membership
- Assess each member’s needs and recommend coverage that fits their family
Build your network
- Develop strong relationships with credit union staff, branch managers, worksite personnel, and employer group contacts
- Generate referrals and new business through existing and new relationships
Hit your goals and track your wins
- Consistently hit daily PRO-level sales goals
- Report total premiums, deductions, new members, and annual savings to credit unions when applicable
- Submit high-quality applications and documentation on your manager’s schedule
- Submit non-branch activity logs the same day as off-site visits
- Follow attendance and reporting procedures set by your manager

What You’ll Need
- Proven sales track record (insurance experience and/or license a plus, not required)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative attitude
- Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail
- Comfort with internet and email communication
- A reliable internet connection from a secure location
- Ability to travel to worksite locations around the Baltimore area as needed
- A positive, professional attitude and a commitment to ethical, compliant sales practices
