What are the responsibilities and job description for the HUD Service Coordinator position at FSL Programs?
Position Summary
According to prescribed policies and procedures, under the general supervision of the Property Manager/Staffing Manager, the HUD Service Coordinator assumes responsibility for coordinating programs and services to help residents maintain a good quality of life and age in place. This position is grant-funded for HUD Section 8 properties; the position's continuity depends on continued grant awards.
This position does not have direct reports.

Requirements
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION: A bachelor's degree in social work or a related field is preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Two or more years of experience in social service delivery with the elderly and family population. Demonstrated working knowledge of supportive services and other resources in the area served by the project. Demonstrated ability to advocate, organize, problem-solve, and provide results for the residents helped.
SKILLS/ABILITIES: Good communication, comprehension, and interpersonal skills.
Working knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, and the World Wide Web
Basic math skills are required.

Physical Demands
- The worker is subject to changes inside and outside temperatures which may include extreme heat (temperatures above 100 degrees) or extreme cold (temperatures below 32 degrees)
