Position Summary
The Clinical Director is an independently licensed mental health professional with responsibility for providing clinical leadership of the Assisted Group Living Department, including the Behavioral Health Residential Facilities and the Adult Behavioral Health Therapeutic Program (ABHTH). Under the direct supervision of the AGL Administrator, this position is responsible for supervision of the Clinical Program Managers, Clinical Support Specialists, and ABHTH Program Manager monitoring quality of service provision and advocacy for needed services. This is a highly skilled professional position which provides clinical leadership to the behavioral health team including treatment plan development, clinical behavioral health interventions, documentation, and staff clinical oversight and training to ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual requirements. This position is classified as Safety Sensitive.
This position has supervisory direct reports who oversees 5-7 direct reports.

Requirements
Education/Experience/Credentials/Knowledge/Understanding
- Master’s degree and independently licensed through the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners as a Behavioral Health Professional (LCSW or LPC).
- Comprehensive understanding of the treatment of psychiatric illness/drugs.
- Experience working with the adult SMI population.
- 5 years’ experience in the mental health field.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a clinical managerial capacity.
- High level knowledge of state and local regulatory requirements.
- Comprehensive knowledge and experience with behavioral management.
- Excellent communication skills; superior writing skills and basic computer skills.
- Must have, or be able to obtain, a Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card through the Department of Public Safety background check/fingerprint clearance process.
