Position Summary
Provides direct assistance to the kitchen and nutrition staff for congregate and home-delivered meal services for Peoria Senior Center and/or Wickenburg Senior Center.

Requirements
Education/Experience/Credentials/Knowledge/Understanding
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1 year experience in handling, preparing, and cooking food items for large groups (100-150 people)
- Able to read, write and follow written instructions
- Possess a valid unrestricted driver license and be insurable by AllThrive 365, valid MVR
- Possess CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain within 60 days of position entry
- Possess Valid Food Handlers Card or ability to obtain within 60 days of position entry
- Clear fingerprint background screening through the Department of Public Safety and comprehensive background clearance to include a physical, drug screen and other
- Must be at least 18 years of age

- Works with or near kitchen large and small appliances, sharp tools, and refrigeration equipment
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds

- Must be able to drive during daylight hours
