About the Positions:
Chemical manufacturing company is seeking an entrepreneur minded, self-starter candidate for the position of Chemical Account Manager. The primary responsibility of a Account Manager is to promote and sell company products and services by interacting with established customers and new prospects as well as developing new territories. The ideal candidate would have familiarity working in manufacturing and/or territory sales environments albeit no extensive experience is required. Candidate should be organized, proficient writing skills and able to work independently to accomplish territory sales goals. This is a perfect opportunity for new college graduates or a sales professional looking for stability and longevity within a company.

Qualifications and Duties:
- Bachelor degree in Chemistry or similar fields from an accredited institution is desired.
- Must have valid driver’s license and maintain safe driving record.
- Must pass drug test and physical exam.
- Proficient math skills, computer skills and prior CRM experience a plus.
- Comfortable assembling, testing and trouble-shooting Foam Supplies and Sub-Assemblies equipment.
Primary responsibilities:
- Develop and grow the commercial relationships of assigned customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase market penetration.
- Manage sales pipeline to drive new business opportunities to commercial success.
- Collaborate with Technical Service colleagues to exchange information, such as selling strategies or marketing information.
- Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, work plans, and monthly and annual territory analysis.
- Quote prices, credit terms or other bidding specifications for customers.
- Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, merchandizing techniques.
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems; developing solutions; preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Willing to travel overnight (out-of-town) 50% of the time per month.
