FS‑Elliott is looking for a hands‑on, detail‑driven Inspector who takes pride in ensuring products meet the highest standards. If you enjoy solving problems, working with precision tools, and being part of a team that values quality and safety, this role is for you.
This opening is for second shift only!
Key Responsibilities
- Perform product inspections to verify conformance with specifications
- Use standard mechanical/electrical instruments, gauges, and test rigs
- Complete documentation including process tags, rework tags, and nonconforming material reports
- Review and analyze test data for compliance; report abnormalities
- Maintain accurate GMP‑compliant records, logbooks, and forms
- Conduct internal quality audits
- Calibrate and maintain inspection equipment
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment issues
- Assist in creating or revising SOPs
- Manage Defective Material Reporting (DMR) area and coordinate containment actions
- Review product returns and collaborate with other departments
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills Knowledge and Expertise
- Understanding of manufacturing equipment, assembly processes, and safety procedures
- Experience in quality assessment or improvement preferred
- Strong technical aptitude and attention to detail
- Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; SAP experience preferred
- Familiarity with Quality Management Systems and ISO14001 a plus
- High school diploma or GED required
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
