Summary
Frye Mechanical, Inc. is currently looking for an experienced HVAC Technician to join our team in the Dayton, Ohio area and become a Local Union MES. This position's primary responsibilities will be to perform HVAC repairs and maintenance in Commercial and Industrial settings.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot HVAC equipment such as RTU’s, Boilers, VAV/VVT Systems, Chillers, etc.
- Present findings and options to customers; provide advice and recommendations.
- Complete approved repairs, improvements, or installations within industry standard times, following proper safety procedures
- Clean equipment and work area; ensure complete customer satisfaction upon completion of work
- Complete all paperwork required by management
- Keep assigned service vehicle organized, clean, and stocked properly
Requirements
- (3 ) years of experience in HVAC, Maintenance, Service Technician or Installation, or comparable education.
- Basic Electrical, Mechanical and Refrigeration skills/theory knowledge.
- Universal EPA Certification
- Ability to communicate clearly in a friendly, personable way with clients and coworkers.
- General knowledge of necessary materials, tools, and equipment.
- Able to quickly troubleshoot problems efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail with a desire and ability to complete the job correctly the first time.
- Understands and willing to follow proper safety techniques.
- Ability to follow controls/wiring schematics.
- Brazing certification or ability to pass brazing test.
- Must be able to work on call, weekends and after hours as required.
- Pass a drug test and background check.
- Valid driver's license, and a clean driving record.
